Book signing in store
Last week I spent the day signing "The Tsar's Banker" at my local Waterstones
This is one of my favourite activities. People in the industry tell me it's just not worth doing signings these days, and that's it is all done online. However, I just love meeting readers face to face and hearing what they think of my books or their favourite reads. In fact, just talking all things literary with real people is just such fun, and you never know if you are going to meet someone who inspires a new character in your next book!
I always listen carefully to what they say about my characters and what they think should happen. However, all too often nobody seems to be in agreement. Views range from "Kill more of them off " to "…..oh he's my favourite, don't kill him". It looks like you are going to have to trust me.
